Since moving to Manila nearly three years ago I have searched for a group that I could join and maintain good relations and enjoy traveling around and away the City. I have found several groups that offer this, but in a sporadic sense. It's seems there are hundreds of groups here and many belong to several groups. These groups get together to ride on weekends mainly and take trips to surrounding cities normally for breakfast and return back to Manila. This is great but does not fulfill the idea that I had imagined. So where do we define the line that will encourage people that want to ride in a safe controlled environment and offer a no rules, no dues or attendance obligations Club.

After joining a few local clubs with great guys and gals I was still unable to find a club that fit the bill for what I was looking for. So, I applied for and was approved as 1st Officer for the Southern Cruisers Riding Club, Manila Chapter 535, Officially sanctioned by SCRC International. We have currently 12 members belonging to the Manila Chapter and are looking to grow. Face Book Page address is Southern Cruisers Riding Club, Manila. If you are interested in joining, visit the page and go on line to http://www.scrcnational and join. Be sure and read the rules so that you understand what we stand for and what to expect. We are looking for Officers, Ride Captains and others to assist in growing the chapter. You be given a membership ID Number and the opportunity to order from the On Line store. I will contact you once your membership has been approved.

We are a Family oriented club that stresses safety for all rides, and there are no limits as to what you ride. The only drawback here in the PI is the restrictions placed on CC size on South and North LEX. But this can be overcome so all enjoy the riding club.
